Three hundred people easily die in this film and the violence is fairly graphic. The redeeming quality is the lead actress Luss who carries the film. Helen Mirren is wasted as is Evans and Murphy.

The story follows a Soviet spy named Anna Poliatova who poses as a fashion model but is secretly an assassin; however when she learns that she's been lied to by her handler she attempts cut a deal with the CIA and get out of the spy game.
Newcomer Sasha Luss gives a solid performance and handles the stunt work quite well, and she's backed by a strong supporting cast that includes Helen Mirren, Luke Evans, and Cillian Murphy. Additionally, the fight sequences are dynamic and exciting. While its bit derivative and recycles a number of spy tropes, Anna manages to be an entertaining film that delivers a few surprises.
