We will also provide you how you can get out from the trouble when your device is stuck on download mode. So, keep reading this article thoroughly.

We would firstly like to acquaint you with Samsung download mode before we move on how to enter into it. As the term itself implies, download mode intends to download firmware or packages in your Android device.

It is a state used for ROM flashing or updating system in the Android device. When the Samsung device has entered download mode, the device will boot from external sources. You can also make the stock ROM replaced in download mode. In order to enter Samsung download mode, we have 5 different ways for different models.

Here are those one by one. Please follow the steps accordingly. You need to hold down the "Power" button and switch off the device. Lastly, press the "Volume Up" button and this way you will enter the download mode on your Samsung device.

Turn off the device by pressing the "Power" button. Now, long press the "Power", "Bixby" and " Volume Down " buttons altogether.

Similar to above, release the buttons when seeing the "Warning" screen and the press the "Volume Up" button to enter Samsung download mode. Turn off the device and connect your Samsung to the computer via USB cable. Subsequently, press the two Volume buttons: Volume Up and Down. We boot into this special boot mode in order to flash firmware images to our device.

Time needed: 5 minutes. If you have owned a Samsung device in the past then you are likely familiar with the fact that these devices do not have a Fastboot Mode. You may even be aware that they use Download Mode aka Odin Mode as a replacement for just about the same functions you would do in the traditional mode. However, as of late, the company has changed the way people boot their device into Download Mode.

Before, it would be just like booting into Fastboot Mode where you would simply shut off the device before pressing and holding a combination of buttons to turn the phone back on.

Not only would the smartphone or tablet begin powering back on. But you would be taken into Odin Mode if you continued holding those buttons down during the boot cycle. This is no longer the case for Samsung devices though and it requires you to press and hold the two buttons mentioned above while inserting a USB cable. As you can see, the guide above takes 8 different steps as I describe it.
